Why We Built This Site
Michigan gives the public a meaningful amount of court information, but the state does not publish one convenient warrant directory. A warrant record lives with the court that issued it. The 77th District Court handles misdemeanor, traffic, ordinance, and arraignment matters for Mecosta County, and the 49th Circuit Court handles felony and general jurisdiction cases. Support enforcement runs through the Friend of the Court and the Family Division. The Mecosta County Sheriff serves process and answers custody questions, and the sheriff's page publishes no warrant unit and no public list. Michigan also has no public statewide warrant search, because the state law enforcement network is restricted to authorized agencies and the public criminal history service leaves warrant information out.
That structure makes it easy to check one office, find nothing, and draw the wrong conclusion. We collect the contacts, search steps, record fields, and access rules for each office in one place so a reader starts at the right counter and knows what the clerk will ask for.

What We Cannot Do
This is a privately run reference site. We have no connection to any Michigan court, to the Mecosta County Sheriff's Office, or to any state agency. The limits are real:
- We cannot confirm whether a warrant exists for anyone, because we hold no warrant records
- We cannot recall, quash, or clear a warrant on any system
- We cannot accept payment toward a bond, a fine, or a court cost
- We cannot schedule an appearance or arrange a surrender on anyone's behalf
- We cannot give legal advice or tell you how a specific case applies to you
- We cannot promise that every phone number, fee, or office hour on this site is current today
Only the court that issued a warrant, or the law enforcement office holding the related custody record, can confirm whether an order still exists and whether it has been recalled or cleared. We can point you to that office, but the answer has to come from them.
Search Partners
A few pages here carry search boxes that outside companies operate. Those providers set their own prices and run their own services, and their results are not an official court check. When one of those tools leads to a paid signup, we may receive a referral fee, which helps keep this site free to read. We do not control what a partner charges or what its results contain.
